The SPFS-2 Sump Cover Drain Seal has a brass valve and is rated to stay closed up to a pressure differential of about 1.25" WC. To ensure a sump pump is sealed from gases, odors, and radon, we recommend installing the SPFS-2. The top of the drain is 2 3/4" in diameter and has a below grade depth of 3 3/4".
